Technology of pipeline rehabilitation

Liner SAERTEX is a flexible polymer sleeve, which is a woven fiberglass structure impregnated with special resin. The resin cures as a result of exposure to ultraviolet radiation.

SAERTEX-LINER

Use in especially difficult cases

Even better characteristics of the modulus of elasticity and tensile strength make it possible to use the liner in difficult cases during rehabilitation of pipelines. It is the higher characteristics that make it easy to repair worn-out pipes in gravity pipelines.

Insignificant reduction in the cross-section of a pipe

The reduction factor of 1.28 and the high modulus of elasticity make it possible to use a smaller wall thickness, in contrast to other insertion sleeves, which, under extreme static loads, results in an insignificant reduction in the cross section of a pipe.

Immediate tightness check

In sleeves SAERTEX-LINER, an inner film is only an accessory during installation and is removed immediately after curing, which means that tightness of the pipe can be checked immediately. All the numerous tests conducted by research institutes have showed an excellent result.

Diameters* from 150 to 1600 mm
Wall thickness 3–15 mm
All cross-sections circular, ovaloid, throat and box profiles
Rehabilitation of sections with angles up to 30 degrees
Curing with steam or UV
Applications pressure/gravity systems
Short-term elastic modulus 20.500 N/mm2
Short-term bending strength 270 N/mm2
Reduction factor 1.28
*The liner can be manufactured with changing diameter (in steps)

Popularity

The fiberglass sleeve SAERTEX-LINER is one of the main products manufactured by the SAERTEX multiCom plant (Germany). Having good mechanical characteristics, this sleeve is used for rehabilitation all over the world.

High wear resistance

The liner is made of chemically resistant and corrosion resistant glass. A special method of laying fiberglass and its impregnation with resin at the plant using a special technology have made the M Series sleeve a leader during rehabilitation of small deformations in a pipeline.

Cost effectiveness

Low energy consumption, efficient equipment, short curing time allows you to significantly reduce your costs.
